Mawlānā Mizanur Rahman studied classical Islamic sciences and graduated from Dār al-ʿUlūm, London. He has a passion for the study of the Qur’ān; Tajwīd and Qirā’āt, and has completed the study of al-Qirā’āt al-Sabʿah and al-ʿAsharah with Mawlānā Yusuf Darwan at Jamia Taleemul Islam, Dewsbury. In addition, he has completed the Qirā’āh of both Imām ʿĀṣim and Imām Nāfiʿ with Qārī Bashir Siddique al-Madanī, and is currently studying the Qirā’āh of Imām Ibn Kathīr. Mawlānā Mizanur Rahman is currently the Imām and Headteacher at Chingford Masjid. He is highly respected for his expertise in Tajwīd and Qirā’āt, and has a talent for teaching these disciplines in a clear and concise manner.
