Mawlānā Adnan Pathan memorised the Qurʾān at Quwwat-ul-Islam, London and pursued the study of the classical Islamic sciences, graduating from Imam Zakariya Academy, London. While there, he began his journey in the Qirāʾah of Imām ʿĀṣim and obtained ijāzah in Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿĀṣim. He is currently maintaining his recitation of Ḥafṣ while pursuing ijāzah in Shuʿbah at Al-Nujum Institute, aiming to complete his recitation and obtain his ijāzah in the Qirāʾah of Imām ʿĀṣim. Additionally, Mawlānā Adnan holds a BA in Legal Regulation and an MA in Human Resource Management from the University of Westminster. He continues to study spoken Arabic with a teacher from Egypt and Arabic literature with some of his teachers from Imam Zakariya Academy.
